RESMIX 3000

Designed for dams, lakes or reservoirs of medium size the ResMix 3000 is the cost effective solution in artificial destratification. This unit has proven itself in eliminating thermal strata, increasing net dissolved oxygen (DO) throughout the water column and minimizing or eliminating outbreaks or blooms of Cyanobacteria (blue-green algae).  The end result is a much improved raw water quality and therefore a significant reduction in the amount of chemicals (thus cost) needed at the treatment plant.

RESMIX 5000

Achieving the same results as the smaller units the 5000 is suited for larger dams, lakes or reservoirs and can be used singly or as double unit. The Water Engineering and Research Solutions Pty Limited (WEARS Australia) ResMix 5000 System comprises a large 5-meter axial flow pump, moving water through a flexible draft tube where needed, from the surface through the thermocline to the hypolimnetic bottom layers of a dam. This destratification process, which has traditionally been achieved with high-energy low-efficiency air diffusers can now be achieved using only 10% of the power previously needed.
