Robina Lakes Project – Reduction Nutrient LevelsResMix 1000 |
|
Robina Lakes, which are surrounded by residential development and recreational space, were built to act as retention basins for flood and storm water runoff. During hotter months, cyanobacterial outbreaks, caused by a stratified water column and exacerbated by high nutrient levels, raised health concerns for surrounding residents and lake users as well ecological degradation and issues with odour.
